Hi guys I need your help
This problem occurs from time to time and I don’t know how to adapt properly.

Hero: BU, 100BB
CO (solid player nothing out of line) opens to 2.5bb

How should hero adapt his range? SB and BB are LAGs (loose aggressive).
My normal game plan would be:
- Against fishes (loose passive) sitting behind → increasing flatting range (they would continue with a ton of hands against my 3bets)
- Against REG sitting behind → increase my 3betting range (otherwise they would squeeze me light)

But what should I do against LAGs: They are continue with too many hands (like a fish) but in the same time 4betting aggressive (like a REG).

THX

become a super lag or super nit

Honestly, these are hard questions for me to answer not being in-game.

I 3 bet them alot, willing to 5 bet shove if they start playing back with wide 4 betting. If they call OOP in a big pot, that can only benefit the player in position, no matter what your hand is. Yeah once in a while they will hit, but in the long run, the player in position will profit by playing bigger pots in position.

Id say in the specific situation you mentioned:

- when deep: 3bet a range that is stronger than what they call. I say deep cause its higher variance, so dont really wanna do this short. in the long run youll outrange them in pots that see plenty of bets.

- flat call monsters vs CO when ur flat becomes a good squeeze for the LAG's. flat/jam AK/QQ(/JJ) when 20-35 bbs. above that/when deep you can call with AK. Flat pre jam AA/KK on flop when short. could 4bet AA/KK when deep after flatting and their 3bet.

- decrease the amount of hands you flat with that you dont wanna call a squeeze with.

In every case u wanna also take the tendencies and stack of initial opener in mind. (likely to fold/jam/flat)
