Kind of an interesting and close turn spot here with QJ...not loving our kicker obv but not sure we want to xb on double fd board (esp not blocking hearts)...

I agree it feels like an ambitious open off our stack size. I also feel like we need to x back one of the flop or turn but ap we cant really fold here (I dont think).

not sure what you're aiming to do other then induce when you bet so small otf.

can't see any reason to bet turn other than to get him to pile in, he's not going to flat worse and fold river with half his stack in the middle. and protection isn't valid as he's going to pile in all his draws, too.

Question : the stat of V's in this hand implies that they are kind of tight players..VPIP is slightly greater than 20% only for one of them..Isn't opening QJo justified in spots like this?

Interesting spot. I think V probably c/r heart draws OTF as well as 2 pair hands, so this leads me to believe that they are either trying to realize their fold equity with the diamond draw OTT or has made 2 pair OTT. A3 also seems reasonable, a little more reasonable than 36 given his stack size.

Considering you say V is tight, I don't see too many 2 pair combos on the board that would defend this pre so this drastically reduces the number of combos that V can have and would probably lead me towards calling and hope for a black card and say GG if they have A3.

Yes it's a loose open pre...table was playing very passively at that point...definitely debatable though esp w/only 25bbs...if I'm gonna open loose though I do prefer hands like this which flop well (compared to say AXs or KXs)

I fold this but RWE plays >> me post, so profitable open for him. Should be close to bot opening range (unless ur an ACR reg...then somewhere in the middle.)

There is a tendency within the pop to call with worse...come to think of it...it may even be correct (for them) to do so?

Also (if we wanna get real tricky) we can bet this sizing with > combos than TP.
