Looks to me like you have no calling range on this river.

I'd bet turn for value as well with plans to jam river.

You really have to call this.

CALL

i keep relooking at this, like i missed something,

but im probably betting the turn (6bb makes the pot 24bb) so i can get it in nicely OTR

just curious, in your post, does this effect your decision, FInally we were 13 people left at that point

about the 13 people left, if it affects my decision, well people tend to get tighter sometimes so deep so i was more disbelieving he will try a bluff here.

I think that his donk and fast and big bet on the river made me feel like i was in trouble here, although i was thinking what greg said, that if i don't call this i basically fold top of my range

I mean, such an awkward spot/line, but people tend to be pretty greedy w/ their sizing when they have it, don't you think?
We really want him to have like KT or JT turned into a bluff, cuz what do we beat, maybe QT (I doubt choses that sizing tho).
I do agree we should bet turn.
OP what's the buy-in of this tournament?
Also, V was aggro but good, aggro and spewy, aggro but bad etc. ??

Another spot where I raise flop to jam turn with a fixed value hand

can you explain this a bit more? Cause i tend to never raise this kind of hands in position, so i want to understand it a bit. Is it just that we have a very strong hand ?

Absolutely have to call this, but we need to raise the flop and bet the turn to make your life easier. V has a super wide range here just flatting in the SB. The donk bet call is fine (I prefer a raise), but when V checks the turn you have to bet. Do you think he's donking out with 2 pair then checking the turn? Doubt it. He might have hit 2 pair on the river, which is why we need to be betting before that.

Yes because I still think he could be bluffing/semi bluffing at this river and geez we do have top pair. I gave that example as a reason as to why OP should be raising flop and/or betting turn.

You would have lots of Jx, TT-99, Straights(t9s), few 88, AhA.

If we don't expect him to play Qx like this and be cautious w his semibluffs (on all streets) then we should prefer diamond kicker (T,9 preferably and not K since its blocks his K-highs) among our Jx, Qx.
If he leads lots of crap he can overbluff badly.

If he can play Qx like this then Qx should be preferred to other pairs as a catcher except AA ofc.

I want to charge the maximum and protect the made hand that is unlikely to improve on turn/river. I'm not afraid of the donkbet-range and if he only leads 2p+/monsterdraws 3 way fold flop.
