thoughts on shoving 20BB with A8o here

Its a satelite with 4 seats, 6 players left
Theres a 17BB, 20BB (me), 32BB, 42BB, 43BB, 150BB

I'm puck A8o no one in & I straight shove near 20BB

This jennifer says shove AX there, while harrington says A7o & A4,A5o

I see some tournament players saying they never reshove 20BB

The small was the chip leader kinda loose fish too, and I was kinda worried
about light reshoves and also him calling a small raise with loads of hands.

Obvisiously I walked into a hand and its happen a few times to me.
Just wondering if maybe I'm overagg in this spot.. thanks

well this is more icm, you shouldn't be looking at chip ev shove charts. also antes make a differance
the other players beside the big stack will be calling tighter because of icm (at least they should be, if they are not following icm the shove is pretty bad) your saying the big stack is pretty loose so he maybe calling wider.
if there are no antes we're not shoving
if there are antes and these players are folding what they should be then it might still be a bit to wide for to many big blinds

There are antes.
The big blind is probably following ICM. THe chip leader small might call wide.
I guess your minraise folding it?
Problem with minraising imop is that the chip leader small will probably shove
on my preceived button steal with 22+ & probably some KQ, KJs type stuff.
I suppose I could just fold also, its allowed lol ... thanks

I think this is a fine spot to mini-raise. The chip leader is not going to re-shove every hand.

vs described big stack in the SB and this being a satellite I don't mind folding and waiting for a better spot

With your stack size and the circumstances I don't think you will get a wrong answer here. Well maybe from PhatPots, I`m not feeling the min-raise. But all-in or wait and see (fold) both seem like reasonable plays.
