The smallblind - My archenemy is an lose-aggressive player. We have little history. In generall he dont respect my raises en flatt calls me. Hes the bigstack with arround 360`000.

He opens with 10`000. The Big Blind (tight-passiv) calls.

With BB-Ante pot size is 24`000.

After 1 min of thinking I shuff.

Smallblind snap calls me.

Big Blind folds.

Smallblind shows Q10. (Bastard )

He spikes a Queen on the flop.

Tournament over.


My toughts:

In generell I think this play is standrart and often will be profitable. Against this kind of player flatt calling would be better.

Against a loose-aggressive big stack you have little fold equity and you can only beat them with good made hands.

something is missing here. what did you do with AK in CO? limp? also pot size after BB acts doesn't work out.

but whatever this mess in the hand history, getting it in preflop with AK and 30BBs can't be bad.

Idk what you did but I assume you limped pre. Hmm raise to 8-9k pre. I feel I would just raise pre and jam on 3 bets by villain. As played, solid. You could also just 3 bet like 1/3 of your stack. 3bet to like 30-40k and jam all flops. As stated, you got the call you wants. Just standard tournament variance. I wouldn’t worry about result as you want to play an vs q10 for a 60+ bb stack.

The real problem here is why are you open limping ak from the cutoff. That line is so meh. Just open and 4bet jam when he 3 bets. Ez game

Yeah, I think there are some mistakes and something missing there on pre-flop. If Hero limped, the pot also incorrect with only 24k if SB open 2.5bb. I guess the standard play was open from CO and 4bet jam if a 3bet occurs. It seems that Hero jam on flop instead of pre.

Villian was UTG or UTG +1. Raises to 10k.

UTG +2 calls.

Small Blind Folds.

Then I jam.

I think that's a pretty standard jam. Plenty of fold equity. If your enemy is loose and opening wide then its very profitable to shove. I don't think UTG+2 is ever calling with K's or A's in a local $100 tourney. He capped and you can take down a good chunk in blinds or be flipping at worst with dead money in the pot.

You got it in ahead and cant be results oriented. I think you played that pretty standard
