Thoughts?

1. Do you think this should be a 3bet pre?
2. Call or Fold river? I'm still not convinced I made the right decision here.

Any other thoughts please.

3b GII pre is OK but it's pretty borderline. It's not too far ahead of an UTG+2 19.5BB open range. You also have 5 players left to act behind and 2 of them can hurt you. This is a pretty tough spot cause flatting here kinda sucks, too. I guess 3b is probably the best option overall but it feels pretty gross.

As played, BB bet OOP into 3 players on the turn and then 2nd pair also paired on the river. Turn call was ok. River? Sure, you might occasionally run into a flush draw here but I'm never calling in these spots unless I have notes on V that he's done something like this before. He'd have to be pretty agro. He knows you pretty much never have an ace here so he can easily make this shove with an eight, too.

The 3bet pre I'm not the biggest fan of, stack sizes and position just kind of make it awkward. I probably get to the turn with the intention of betting if checked to but just laying it down there most likely. Seems kind of standard for V to play his Ax this way? It doesn't particularly seem like a spot V overbluffs idk

I think 3b GII on these stack sizes is fine, our range for that might be something like 88+, AQ+?

Otr a lot of draws miss so I might flick in the call, but its not a great card for villain to bluff so idk.
