It was the live session, buy-in €100+€10, re-buy €50 on first 3 levels, one add-on €50 before level#4, 50 players, 6th places paid.

we are on level#4, just after re-buy period expired. Blinds are 100/200, no antes.

I have ~28BB, there are a couple of short stacks and multiple 30BB-45BB stacks.

I raise 2.25BB with JT from EP. It's the worst Jx I open here.

MP - rec player - with stack ~25BB calls.

BTN - good guy - chip leader with ~40BB calls.

Blinds fold.

Flop(7.25BB) K85

I am fine with check/fold now. My hand has no connection to this flop and I am not sure if I can bluff versus 2 opponents.
I check and everyone checks.

Turn : J

I check, MP checks and BTN bets 6BB!

In reality I called, but I now think that it was the excellent opportunity to x/jam OTT because :
1) My action can represent a lot of hands from my range : AA, JJ, KK, AK, KJs, KQs. Part of these hands x/r OTF, some of them x/c OTF and I really checked OTF.
2) My opponents prob have capped ranges, they don't have hands that I represent because the would 3-bet pre with them pre.

So, does it make sense?

Chk/raise ott is awful imo. The only hands you credibly "rep" are JJ and some KK

Preflop might be a fold at these stack depths pre ante. Once we get this bone dry flop just bet flop and usually give up when called.

If you aren't cbetting your strong kings on the flop in a small stakes live mtt, you're doing it wrong.

As played you probably have to call turn even against the large size.

In live tournaments at this buyin level you can almost forget about concepts like balance, repping hands and ranges. Villains are playing solely on the cards they hold and are mostly unaware these concepts even exist

Yeah, true for 95% of players who play in these tournaments...The final hand I played there was the perfect showcase : super loose UTG raised 64s in 10-max table, I shoved my last 4BB from the button with A7o, he called and the board had 5,7,8. These players turn poker to some kind of lottery.

Anyways, thanks for sending the response. It confirmed my intention to quit these live tournaments and focus on small stakes online games where people stop gambling even on $11-buy-in level.

I like cbetting small here (~33%) OTF on this board.

1) Such a dry board, they likely missed
2) Smashes your range
3) We can continue betting turn we get cards to a BDSD
4) We only need them to fold ~25% of the time to breakeven

Obviously I prefer it if we have more backdoor equity like a BDFD but I still lean towards bet

Also as played, turn x/r seems creative but unnecessary. You could easily have the best hand on this board. Look at how many draws there are. Not loving life that you block QT but still plenty of gutters, straight draws, flush draws. No need to turn 2nd pair into a bluff. Gonna x/fold to a lot of river bets though

I am not sure what "smashing your range" means in this context...could someone clarify that? Does it mean that we make the range difficult to narrow down by making c-bet that can indicate a lot of hands from our range?

Sorry for confusion, basically I meant that you have a range advantage on this board because you have stronger Kx like AK, KK, while the two people flatting behind shouldn't have those hands in their range.

You both have a lot of Kx in your range in general, but you have more Kings, and at a higher frequency since you have a narrower range raising from EP.
