Ranges are quite capped and I want to attack them somehow.
I think average opponents will give way more credit to a checkraise + river jam line than to bet turn + allin river, even if i offer very good price on the river.
The problem obviously is that stacks are very shallow and the board is quite dynamic, so if i want to have non-allin checkraise on the turn, my bluffs have to be with decent equity.
I think this combo is just awesome for this move, blocking 55 which is their most likely slowplay on the flop + having decent equity but not blocking any of the high straightdraws + barely blocking their flushdraws.

You almost surely had the best hand.

Pretty terrible pot geometry on the turn leaving a .5 SPR on the river.

Also, highly doubt you take this sizing with 8x and you likely bet turn if not donk flop with 8x. Really your only turn sizing is all-in.

Undecided if I like x/r with this combo in particular compared to 6c5c or 6s5s because the latter need significantly more protection.

Obviously there are a lot of hands i'm ahead of, vs single opponent i guess it's okay to just check-call turn.
And yes, you are right that when i personally take this line, it's ~always one of the very few bluffs i can do, but i think when an average mid-lowstakes guy faces this line (turn checkraise vs 2 opponents) he'll not think in ranges and pot-odds, more of "what is this from the population" --> calls turn (delaying real decision) and then folds river with ~all the Jx (and obviously all the draws as well).
Also, in bounty tournaments i think population has extreme tendencies to overfold river when you go for their whole stack, they tend to give you way more credit.

If i was to change anything literally mincheckraising the turn is probably better --> leaving their ranges wider, bigger FE on the river.
On this specific river i can be convinced that check-call is the highest EV (he'll not valuebet anything worse than a K, but can easily bluff with any of the busted draws we barely block)
And probably giving up on Q, fake-giving up on diamond to get value from the straightdraws...

If this guy folded a jack here he's officially the worst player on the planet.

easy fold pre.
turn looks like a XF, not quite getting a good enough price.
XR and jam looks kinda fishy, SPR is pretty low, idk looks dicey. Our 5x blocker matters a lot more vs. BTN than vs. MP who would fold 55 pre most times.

ha, i actually think your critique is pretty rough mate. i hadn't seen this replayer before but played it almost exactly the same as OP clicking along including the cr turn. fun.

agree that SPR is horrid against OR (i went larger on the cr) but the arguments to cr are so strong here it's worth the risk imo.
