New laptop on way as I have been using a 2012 8gb ram MacBook since 2012.
64gb ram ready for some solving but want to know which is the best one to go for???
Using PADS on PADS course and he uses Pio mainly so inclined to go for that but if there is something much better would obviously reconsider.
Work full time so will not be devoting as much time as the pros - really like the idea of being able to upload pre solved, categorised sims, is this possible?
I’ve been recommended PIO, and that seems to be the standard, but I’ve seen a rep for GTOWizard posting in this forum and it’s kinda cool to have access to someone who posts here if you have questions, so I’ll throw that one out too.
These are all good questions, but this is the MSMTT-HSMTT hand strategy forum rather than the solver forum. I'd have a chat to the PADS course creators, as they may have resources or advice that can get you started. 64GB of RAM is great if you want to run multiple size trees in PIO for deep stacks, but the accuracy of that analysis depends on the pre-flop ranges you input.
