Wasn't he a Padawan of the Jedi TrollMaster Stealthmonk?

He was a trolling legend.

Getting back to the original post. Is it possible you are getting too tight early on when you have, say 2.5x original stack? You want to keep playing your game at that point, and if you are card dead, look for a spot or two to make a small move, perhaps 3 betting the most aggressive player at your table, or opening lighter than usual from EP. You might get a little more credit for a real hand if you have been quiet for a long time.

Status update...I'm actually enjoying a life devoid of humor...I've become much more focused and I now realize that all good humor has to come at someone's expense...and that's just not a currency that (the "new me") is willing to trade.

It seems that you are getting back into trading though.
