Playing Plo for living but i get some MTT coaching so i decided to play sometimes but regulalry.

I will put the HH if it needed but here is the story hope i can recall as correct as i can.

UTG +1seems solid maybe his 1st open opened min (35 BB eff )
CO (myself) called w AQo
Bu Sb Bb overcalls.

Flop AAJ
UTG +1 bets 0.46 pot
I call others folds.
Turn ( low card and no FD so i think its pretty irrelevant in this case. lets say turncard is 8)

UTG +1 bets 0.52 pot
I call

River K
AAJ8K

He tanks and bets allin which is close to pot.

I folded. I think its ok but maybe not. If HH needed for other info will add it.

Call, call, call, fold for 17 bb's is pretty bad. I'm sure you could have found a bet somewhere. I think you should raise pre or on any street. Your hand is so under rep'd you should call the river.

Did you have him covered? How late in tourney was it? If I am reading subject line correct this is a PSKO tourney yes? If that's the case, never fold river, take his bounty in consideration, especially if it's deep in tournament

Who says you're going to lose every time? Obviously you will lose some of the time, but I think you'll win a lot more than you lose. It's pretty weak to call off half the eff. stack and then fold it.

9 combos realistically beat us. 12 if he goes for it with QTs. We need 3-4 combos of worse to breakeve now.

There doesn't seem much point discussing combos, the decision is basically based on a binary assumption as to whether he's bladed or has air.

Just because we lose to such a narrow range to give us a good price, doesn't mean that he can't be so overwhelmingly pointed to that narrow range to make it a fold.

- Are there any worse hands that go for it for value?
- Are there any bluffs in his range?
I tend to respond by "close to never" to these two questions! But I'm not saying it's true, it's just what I think.

But it seems important to me that this should be the thought process. I know other posters are saying that between the lines, but "not folding with these odds" or "not folding because we're under-repped" can be misleading I think.

UTG1 cbet range into 3 opponents, not 1
UTG barreling into Hero with made hand, not some draw
UTG tanks then jams, not a panic jam
