TOURNY just started and I doubled 3x...got coolered 2x...lost a flip...and then doubled with 10j vs KK, and then doubled again with 10j vs AA...i didnt really think this one through at the time...these huge fields you need chips, i hate folding close spots but the more I think about this, should this not have been a fold?

There's as much 8x combos we beat than beat us. Obviously someone or both have pp's. Really I'd think this looks like mp has an overpair and bb has the 8. Which can be T8 98 87 maybe even 86s. Of course he could have a pp or bluff here and mp could have the 8 even then we're only slightly behind. Only 3 combos of 22 if they got it oh well let's hit running 3s.

I tend to agree but the re-raise size to 20k looks so strong. Is it more weighted to A8, 222 by a lot.

ya I mostly agree. I get a little call happy in these big field tourny's because there are so many bad players who are so happy to stack off and don't really exploit you for making lose calls and i feel like you have to find spots to build a stack but ya in the end it was bad poker that lead to a bad spot.
