Hero 8k stack, Villain covered. Live $1,100. Villain is an ok player, playing standard live poker probably won't get out of line too much.

1000, so almost half pot and giving him good odds to call with medium strenght hands and not putting yourself in too much trouble when he has QJ.
In this spot I don't think he has that many hands that will pay, but as you described him, he neither is the player to bluff his bricked FD if you check.

OOC - how about donk ±80% of the pot OTH? There are a lot of Ax in V range and 7 seem to be really weak kicker...If V calls and turn is not 6,7 or 8, we play XF, but if it is 6,7,8 H might lead the turn with pot-sized bet.
