Curious why you checked turn. Do you not feel that worse will call, or that you deny equity from Tx/clubs by betting turn?
AP, your x/r is super polarized and I'm just gonna assume heavily (almost entirely?) weighted towards value so I prefer x/c with you being this far down in your value range (you should have all better QXs, and all boats, and all straights too)
I check the turn trying to induce a bluff from all draws (based on recent hand history of V). I thought my check raise could have been interpreted as calling his bluff, making V believe that he may have the best hand with a draw, or maybe JJ.
Basically, I misread the situation based on past hands.
