Question on donk shoves on the flop

Say you defend the BB with a very short stack and have about SPR of 1. Is it ever correct or often correct to donk shove? This is the situation of a stop and gos from Fossilman's old post to just automatically shove any flop. That is generally not considered a good idea in today's game. However, does it make sense to sometimes shove with a pair, draw, or on a board that favors the caller?

I will often donk in these situations with a relatively strong draw, or when OOP defender has significant range advantage. I usually x/r when I hit pair (of course, depending on board texture, opponent, etc.)

A stop-n-go works when you generate more perceived FE on the flop when your AI gets auto-called pf. To me, they are more player (V) dependent than anything else. OMC will fold far more frequently his A high on a low to middle flop. Otherwise, push or fold pre is likely more GTO defendable.
