MTT theory ? MTT theory ?

Currently approaching bubble in OSS event. Player to my right is sitting with 55 BB I have 45 BB and player to my left has 10BB (and running 14/12). Player to my right is stealing 56% and the rest of table has been fairly tight so we've been in this situation a few times now. Obviously need to widen our 3b range, but considering the player behind us should be jamming fairly wide, what should our 3b and flat range be? For all intents and purposes let's assume we are small blind.

you have to be really careful to use huds properly or it can hurt, not help your game. Steal % I hope you have a really good sample because opponent could be on a run of cards in the short term, I would't read into it too much if the sample is <150 hands.

Say we have a read that yes he is stealing fairly wide then I would 3b close to all of my vpip range in this specific spot.

Because shortie is not guna want to bust prebubble so we can expect alot of folds, stealer knows this and is widening his rfi range, so if we are up against a wide range and a tight one behind I would 3b nearly all Ax hands suited and offsuit, a good amount of suited and offsuit connector and nearly all broadways

3b is going to perform better than flat so we can actually not have a flatting range and be fine with it, if we feel like playing our hand just come in with a 3b. If it starts getting obv we are light 3b then adjust accordingly

imo expanding your light 3b/f and 3b/call ranges a little is better

for example JTs is still a flat, but J7s becomes a 3b/f and AQ becomes a 3b/gii
