Mspt 1k - everyone has about 100bb eff still very early

1st real pot I'm playing - all players are basically unknown

100/200

Utg2 fish limps, utg+3 r to 500, lj calls hero otb calls w QTcc, sb, bb, limper all call

5way to a flop of
(2500)Kh Jd 5s, x to hero otb, I decide to bet 1250, sb calls all other fold.

(5000) turn 2x, sb x hero??

Are you taking a free card here or continuing? Sb range looks like it sholuld be weak here like maybe a set of 5s at best but mostly weak pairs. What's the plan for a brick river?

Agree with ^, but was the 2 a true blank or just to you? I.e. Was there now a flush draw or a calico board?

no don't check flop. on a rainbow board go smaller 900 otf then much harder on turn around 3.5K and that will get the job done against a stubborn SB. if not, make sure you river a 9.

Didn't advocate checking flop. I'm not yet married or even engaged to this hand so early in a MTT. Check turn.
