No big deal. They merged HSMTT and MSMTT. Now they merge again.

WTF???? Where did everything go? It IS a big deal with no communication!

The big problem is they didn't update the forum tree

It appears they created a new "No limit MTTs" section but didn't actually add a link to such section

Looking at it this morning, it’s now a mess. MTTC and MSMTT merged into SSMTT. Sticky threads everywhere. Long term mods without a specific assigned forum.No link redirects. No renaming of forum to generic MTT.

At least Smudger is still banned.

Appears changes are happening progressively

I just sent a message to "Max". Hope it gets to the right people.

This is a disaster.

There are so many "[LOW]" threads that we will have to wade through pages just to see the last updated [MID] threads.

And people who come to the forum infrequently will probably not care enough to search far back. Typically only threads on the first page get responded to.

Also, how does each thread get rated [LOW], [MID], or [HIGH]?

We can screen for [MID] or [HIGH] threads which ironically means that they have split the [MID] and [HIGH] MTT forums up again.

But it also means that [GENERAL] threads (like the WSOP for newbies thread) will not have the Mid/High audience. Maybe some people will go there.

I just acted like I was starting a thread. It looks like it is up to each person to decide what is LOW, MED, HIGH, Etc.

Which is kind of like what it was before I guess. But when we would get a low end Tourney thread we would likely tell them it was in the wrong forum. Now what will happen?

Will a Mod change the "prefix"?

Also, there should be a standard as to what is [LOW], [MED], [HIGH] for live and online. Like in a sticky thread at the top

Lol. It gets worse.

There are a ton of threads that have "no prefix". Some of them are clearly [MID] (I authored two recently).

So I guess we just lost them from the [MID] forum...

I’ve requested that the changes are reviewed ASAP. There are several issues with the grouping of mtt forums and the tag approach isn’t a solution.

And I've done my part by using my classic, well-renowned charm, wit and above all tact via communication with the powers that be so that they do what oldsilver has mentioned.

Sort of a good mod (oldsilver) bad mod (me) approach.

Just an FYI to old/Eggs - you said you never saw an announcement by the new owners about the forum reorg... right now there is another announcement, it's at the top of the page above the stickies, that's where they show up when there is one.
