I feel like I see more Jxs+ lite 3b more than mid suited one gappers/low suited connectors. Lots of K4s or J8s kind of stuff. I've been tightening up my open range and def 4b with a bigger % of that range when oop to these guys. Flatting seems bad. I would think the wider we are getting 3b the more we should be 4bing. I'll open like 77+, ATs+, AJo+, KJs+, KQo and 4b TT+, AJs+, AQo+. I guess I'll flat like 77-99 but that's about it.
I'll probably get flamed for this, but 50bb+ I've been limp/calling hands like 22-66, A6s-A9s, JTo-KJo, JTs-QJs from mid position if I have a frequent 3better behind me IP. Playing a limped, mw pot with a relatively high SPR with these speculative hands has worked out well. There is just no reason to get into a preflop leveling war with these guys if we don't need to fight for blinds/antes yet, and I would rather play a single raised pot passively oop than a 3b pot oop.
