Hero is 4/14
Has 35bb
BU Jams around 15bb
BB has 60BB
Should the strategy be to call the BU allin and fold if the BB jams or just rejam ourself.
Would love to hear your responses.
Thank You.

To answer your question, I don’t think flatting the 15bb is a good move with 8’s and the larger stack in the BB. I think shove or fold makes sense and I don’t think I’m folding.....
If not then I would fold but I would only be folding if BTN was particularly tight and hadn't been opening from LP except with premium hands. This is far fetched really as we are close to the end of the tourney. The other time I might fold is if everyone (at the table) was significantly worse than me which in itself would also be rare.
As played this is a rough spot emotionally but I think it is a clear cut call. I am assuming that BB wouldn't shove with AJ and would also be likely folding 22-77.
We are getting roughly 3:1 pot odds and if Villain is shoving AQ+/99+ we have roughly 36% equity. If Villain is shoving AQs/AK/99+ then it looks a bit worse at about 32% but still way above the 25% we need.
Would need the payouts (1st-12th/13th) and the stacks (of the other table) to provide the ICM solution.
Would need reads on BTN and BB (at the very least) to speculate.
As played without any ICM considerations, you're getting ~3.7 to 1 with ~28% equity vs a 25% BTN open shoving range and a 5% BB iso.
In a FT/ICM scenario with std payouts, 88 should be at the bottom of your iso range. Your flatting range should be very narrow (AA/KK) and some random Ax for your c/f.

I think I would fold this one, it’s probably a bit too nitty. But sitting 4/14 with big stack behind I don’t think you want to risk almost half your stack on a coin flip. I thinking calling is the worst option, jamming is probably okay but even vs a wide BU opening range you are probably 50% at best.
