how do you play 20 bb vs tight limping ranges? how do you play 20 bb vs tight limping ranges?

so utg+1 limps she seems pretty tight so far. we wake up with the a10 suited. utg+2.

the table is rather tight, a lot of limping like 3,4 girls at the table. 1 guy who knows what he is doing but if he raises i would obviously go with a-10 vs him.

its 300-600 with a 600 bb ante.

so obvious the problem is if we make it 2500 she would obvious call, then i am not really sure if a-10 is ahead of her range here? i don't know how sticky she will be on the flops.

on the flop assuming she calls and everyone else folds the pot will be 6500 and we will have 9,500 left in our stack. like on all flops do we just shove? do we raise 2,000 flop and shove all turns?

is it better to just shove pre or is it too many chips and a-10 suited not strong enough of a hand?

i mean she has a limp folding range, here is it better just to shove pre and not worry about guessing how sticky she wil be postflop? or is it too risky to shove a-10 with 20 bb left into 7 people?

we can also overlimp and play postflop, which seems less risky.

Personally because A10s plays pretty well postflop I would raise here between 2000-2500. If the utg limp calls then we play the pot inposition unless anyone calls and it can be pretty easy to push them around if on the tighter side. If playing mulitway I would tighten up my cbet %.

if they end up limp shoving have a pretty easy fold.

I think if we had a hand like A10 off suit I would lean towards shoving although this is close with so many players to act behind.

Folding is also an option here depending on utg+1's range. On a tight table I would iso for 2000 and fold if raised and then adapt on the flop. I'd increase aggression on small flops and control on broadway flops.

To me one important variable is how many players were dealt in? If there were 10 players, meaning there is still 7 players left to act, I would lean towards a fold. If there were 8 players dealt in, meaning there are only 5 players left to act, I would probably raise. 9 players dealt in is just so borderline to me. Raising or folding are probably similar cEV.

If I raise, I would probably go with the smaller amount, planning a small c-bet when appropriate and deciding on commitment on the turn.

I’m probably folding utg+2. I don’t like overlimping. If you iso raise, make it like 2100-2500 and be prepared to Cbet most flops. Weak players will play straight up post flop so cbetting almost all flops is good imo unless you hit the flop hard.

I like fold>iso raise > overlimp here. Raising sucks bc someone can 3bet you in position or call in position. A-10 is pretty hard to play postflop bc people will most likely not 3bet aj-ak in a live tournament and will make your life difficult if an ace comes.

I would love this spot as an iso raise if we are raising closer to the button bc we have position. Also if another player overlimps, you can bump your sizing up more with dead money in the pot. I lean fold as hand is discussed bc a-10 is going to be hard to play postflop especially if day 2-3 callers call your raise.
