Quick background, left university and started a job as a transactions analyst for a pension company.
Eventually, after 3 years left that job.
I started doing something called matched betting, which I did for around 2 years.
This was all at the same time as playing poker. I've played poker since I was 16 and am now 28. My biggest score was £6k in a live mtt at the Vic in London.
I've always had success (although it being very minor success) at poker, except for my first two years where I punted off around £2k I had earned from part time job! LOL
At the same time as matched betting I also dabbled in some online marketing. In feb Amazon cut affiliate commissions from 9% to 3%. This kind of screwed me.
So, basically to fill the gap I will be grinding micro mtt's/sng's and any big field mtt's within my br.
Life time I've around a 10% ROI, so, my plan is to play 10k usd in buy ins a month, to hit what I need.
I will post daily results here and any interesting spots.
If any one is grinding the same games or wants to talk strat, just drop me a message.
Games Played:18250
Total Winnings:$75,905.29
Avg. Buy-In:$3.82
Biggest Buy-in:$109.00
ITM %:17.61
Total Profit:$6,210.81
Average Profit:$0.34
Average ROI %:8.91
I assume you know what you are doing, but after looking at your stats I can’t help but wonder if that’s actually going to work out. In order to get 10k/month in buy ins you have to play about 2’700 games a month (based on your average buy in), so around 90 games a day. Based on your average profit you can expect to make $30 a day. That’s very little money for a lot of volume. I am not sure what the average duration of the games you are playing is, but I assume you are playing between 15-20 tables at the same time in order to reach your daily volume, which will most likely have a negative effect on your results. Also from your post I assume you are from the UK, no idea what the average cost of living is but 900-1000$ a month seems a stretch to make a living. Loads of assumptions based on fairly limited information, so I might be completely wrong. Just a little bit of feedback. Best of luck at the tables.

Ft bubble, I was the shortest. Open jammed 15bb utg. Should I have folded here or min and folded to a jam?
I think 66 is a bit of a stretch to open jam 15bb from UTG. I'd probably go for AJs+ & 88+ in this situation.
12bb or less I'd probably rip it in with 66 as well.
Yeah, you're probably not getting called by worse. Best case scenario, you'd be flipping here, and you don't really want that on a final table bubble.
Anyways, mistakes have to be made, that's how we learn.
I haven't played 7 18s but for the rest 10% ROI is easily doable, you can probably get double that just playing ABC and putting in some work with ICMIZER/HRC. The 66 jam is fine imo.
Think I've seen your name around when I dabbled in some 7 18s. Not sure how you can get it but the pokerstars exclusive challenge can help you earn some rakeback (40% i believe) over a month long period. I agree 66 is probably okay to jam, especially if you are 10/10

I like the min and folding to a jam. Shoving is a bit loose considering there's bounties. In a no bounty's game it's a shove.
