Hopped on GG Poker recently, noticing really long late reg periods, where after 3-4 hours late rego, half the field has busted and avg stack size is 25bb.

Is it worth buying in early with such high % chance of bust? What do you guys think? Feels like such a easy way to bin your bankroll...

If you are a winning player then you are more likely to have a bigger stack at that time by buying in early. Basically, you dont want to have only 25bb at that point in the tourney.

ACR has similarly long late reg. And for me the more frustrating thing about it is playing 6-7hrs to min cash. Or playing 5hrs and busting with nothing.

If you haven’t studied a lot at 100b + poker you prolly want to buy in later. I find that it’s better starting earlier to accumulate stacks but mtts are a big time suck either way
