Wynn Classic Seniors $600 buyin.
V is female age 55-65 and appears to be a regular tournament player, but based on some spazzy plays is not a pro and appears to be prone to mistakes.

Action:
blinds 300/600.
V limps ug w 50 bb. H raises to 2400 UG+1 QJd with 120bb behind.

Folds around to V who calls.

JhJc4h

V checks, H bets 2700 into 6400. V overbet check-raises 16500.

Action?

What does her limping range look like? IME this is never a draw. Could be 44 or Jx. Does she raise AJ? KJs? I guess I call and reevaluate turn. Folding to further aggression.

Yeh, her limping range is really important. Not just if she limp/calls better Js. If she limps a lot of marginal hands, then her range is weaker on this flop.

Lol, call and reevaluate. This is a huge x/r leaving about 2/5 pot behind. You cannot call and fold later on.

I'm just not gonna fold this for 50 blinds unless I have some very solid information. It's obviously annoying but there are enough spazzouts in her range, plus times she is value cutting herself with J9 or JT or going jumanji with a flush draw.

Clicking call then not folding later.

Right, duh. That’s what happens when OP mixes chips and BBS. That drives me crazy. I admit I should still do the math myself, but I assumed with 50 BB we still had reasonable chips behind.

I think this is a sign get it in spot..

I don't have a solid read on her limping range, but easily 44, Ahxh,J8,J9,JT,JK.

Based on SPR and her remaining stack, it's shove or fold at this point, no call.
In any case, I shoved and she called with KcJc.

Absolutely assuming she is random, but her play is just awful. The preflop limp/call is fine in isolation, but her limping approach is probably a big leak. When she x/rs that big, she gets action ahead from precisely QJ, and of course from AJ. If she c/red smaller, she could have a bluff or draw. She should never play 44 / 4s full that way, as it does not need much protection and you would want to price draws in have a boat.

I actually think calling is perfectly fine if we are never folding anyway. It lets her continue in the off chance she is spazzing rather than eliminating her random bluffs or whatever.
