Final Table 6 Handed $45,000 prize pool.
Payouts
1st-6.2k
2nd 4.5k
3rd-3k
4th-2k
5th-1.5k
6th 1k

8.5 million in chips total. All players have between 900k-1.7 mil. Blinds are 60,000-120,000 TURBO.

I made a comeback after being low stack with A,A and AQs both holding up heads up and i have 1.1 mil. I've been playin tight the whole way, only was low stack from being sucked out but was chip leader with 3 tables left.

Folded to me I get AKo in CO +1 and raise to 240,000. The button who is chip leader with 1.7 mil goes all in. This chip leader had just lost the hand prior going all in with the low stack 700K and they both had K8s but the low stack hit the flush. So chip leader had 2.4mil previous hand. There has been much loose play leading up to this hand. This guy has been fairly loose from what ive seen. Everyone else folds.

Whats the right move? FOLD?

With 10BB and AK your only move is to shove pre. Instant call now

Thanks. I called. He had KQ diamonds. Flops was 2d 4d Qc and i lost. I dont know if a shove would have gotten him off his hand but IM glad I was supposed to see it down. it was 70-30... put the pay jumps...everyone was pretty even at the time.

Mostly jam pre. Occasionally raising to induce jams is fine but prefer it with premium pocket pairs and hands not good enough to jam. At these stack depths you should see very little post-flop play and should see an inordinate amount of folding.

Yea I was going for the blinds and figured I'd get respected since the only hands i played and showed at this table were AA and AQs. Maybe I didnt make myself serious enough. Then when he reraised me I felt I had him beat. I was right too...DAM YOU POKER GODS

I think doing anything else than open shoving is pretty terrible, we don't want to induce that much with big ICM implications.

Opening for a regular amount is definitely +EV by virture of the fact you have a top 5% hand, but open shoving almost surely is higher EV.

Shoving mostly guarantees you GII now against worse hands like AQ, AJ before they have a chance to x/f on missed flops. You also max deny equity against all the other trashy hands that might come along, especially from the BB, and outflop you.

For sure jam pre.
