I was playing in a Saturday $240 tournament in Bossier city/Shreveport last weekend and everytime I was in a hand the dealer would look at my cards after I folded or won the pot. I noticed after I saw the guy in the 1 seat also get a peek at them.
I was just shocked and said , "hey! What the heck!?!". The guy in the 1 seat said he didn't see eyeroll*. I notice him do it a few more times after, but I didn't do anything about it. I had never seen dealers doing this before.

I bust the tournament and then sit to play cash. A very obvious regular was sitting in the 1 seat. I was playing super tight and not in many hands, but noticed all the dealers looking at other players hands just like mine in the tournament. Then, the dealer and guy in the one seat are wisperimg for a bit and he gives the dealer a $20 tip.

This is very clearly collusion, right?
Has anyone ever seen this before?
What other kind of cheating should I be watching out for in these weekly tournaments?

Asside: I am never going back to Bossier City/Shreveport to play. Last time before this the chip runner shorted me $10 twice in one night! Had to get the floor to review the cameras when the floor didn't believe it happened again.

i would talk to the dealer and tell him to stop it. if he continues, just call the Floorman (Manager or however it's called in your Casino)

this is an absolute No-Go! doesn't matter if only he sees your cards.
and the Thing on the cash table is like cheating

Really, really, really concerning if it went down exactly as you described.

The casino could easily get shut down/heavily fined if an investigator were to see this.

yep, this is under the camera's eye, so if it's happening in both the mtt and cash then you're unlikely to get any joy from the supervisor.

however it's not worth the hassle and you'd be better off saying loudly to the first dealer that does it, 'I didn't invite you to look at my cards and if you do it again I'll have a serious issue with that and call the floor'. the embarrassment enough will stop the bs.

as an aside, i did have an issue with you mentioning the casino as these are pretty serious allegations - but then I Googled it and saw there were several casinos in this little town I'd never heard of

Back in the old days, people knew the English language, and they would HAVE shot the dealer.

Why would you have had a problem with me mentioning the casino if their employees are cheating?

Because it's pretty close to 100% that you are either full of **** or lying about said casino.

If true, this is very disconcerting but not nearly as bewildering as the recent revelation that NL Holdem has been solved...
