I am watching PCA $100K SUPER High Roller FT coverage and stumbled upon the decision that I have hard time to understand. Here is the hand:
https://youtu.be/hHVHqc9rrF0?t=6176

Kenney, 60BB opened to 2.25BB from EP with A4.
Haxton, ~35BB defended BB with A2

flop comes 5JJ

BB checks and UTG checks back!
Commentator says : "He is going to check-back here with the nuts fd and Ace-high...I don't think that it's a hand that you have to protect against much..."

So, okay, we have very strong draw and ace-high value, why don't we c-bet to pick up the pot right now if bb didn't hit this board?

I think vs haxton he is continuing almost every time and we have the power of position so if he leads turn we can call and bet the river ui if he checks. We can also raise the river frequently if we slow play the flop often. Regarding the commentary hero Can use a free card and doesn't need to "protect " if he has trips lets say and he hits he's going to get paid off. It would probably be difficult to put him on a flush since he expects all draws to bet that flop.
