Against a fishy looking player, we've got too much invested here not to call the river, right?

Please format the hand history better. Too much effort to try to decipher what happened here as posted.

H? We only have a bluffcatcher after the river but 16k to potentially win 85k, we have to call here right?

I think we need to raise bigger on the turn for protection, otherwise it’s a call.

I dont like the turn raise at all,he did check to you on flop as you were the pfr, your raise means you specifically put him on a lower Qx.
But thats too narrow,if hes bluffing youre blowing hom off his bluffs and if he has a better hand(possible sets) youre spewing with a worst hand
After he bets right into you on river it looks horrible but yea with those pots odds i think youd have to call

There are also two flush draws on the board that we hope to raise out. This is why the river was particularly bad, we’re now behind KQ and the spade flush, which I thought to be his most likely holdings. As you say, we’re behind sets but I don’t know if 77 or 55 would have continued pre

I also thought that he’s probably trying push me out of the pot with his bet sizing (pot sized)

Never, ever check the flop. Your range is too far ahead of his to ever consider checking with any hand in your range.

Your range being way ahead of his implies your range is chock full of value hands and his range is chock full of air. So whatever "air" (a relative term) you have wants to bet for protection or as a bluff and since V can't fold 100% of his range (if he did, you certainly should bet and win the pot 100% of the time) your value hands need to come along for the ride to and always be cbet 100% of the time. You can't split your range into BET=AIR and CHECK=VALUE (or in this case, looks like your strategy is BET=VALUE and CHECK=AIR) and expect to maximize your EV. So if you have a situation where you always wanna bet your air, you always need to bet your value too, and vice versa.

Pretty terrible bet by him OTT. Raise if OK but mostly calling. We've unnecessarily capped ourselves bu checking flop so we probably shouldn't have too much of a raising range unless you can honestly say you're also checking AA, KK, 77 on the flop.

AP fold river. 1/3 pot all-in donk bet is never balanced properly, in theory he should have some, IDK, 9d8d and AdXd as bluffs but I think V's just almost always have it here. It's one of the worst rivers in the deck for your hand.
