bvb $55 w/ top pair

8k effective stacks.
100/200 no antes

folds to SB, raises to 675.
Hero (BB) Qc10c calls the extra 475.

Flop Qs 7c 8d Pot 1350

SB leads 700
Hero calls 700

Turn Qs 7c 8d Kc Pot 2750

SB leads 1150
Hero calls 1150 ... we pick up equity with another club, call still seems best. 5k behind.

Turn Qs 7c 8d Kc 9d Pot 5050

SB jams 5k effective
Hero has 5k behind ...?

If he can three barrel me off top pair every time it feels exploitable. But in this particular tourney on this site it's very rare to see someone triple barrel a bluff. No stats on villian, it's on Ignition.

I also have clubs so it's not likely or possible for him to be shoving missed flush draws.

I ended up tank/folding. Just had a bad feeling about it. But theoretically this feels like it's close to a call.

Fold is good. You also block T9, another bluffing combo that picked up showdown value.

Also, it is now 2d pair.

river card completes a lot of draws and other semi-bluffs made a pair so I think he often end up lacking bluffs and otoh you also would have a lot of better hands on this runout.

If this is a good theory call, it's awful close. Could argue not calling any Qx here to a triple barrel since we should have a few Kx and 2p+ we can call down with, but if we have to I'd probably split them and call Qx that doesn't block busted club draws.

It's not close. This is a super easy fold. Just because his bet is poloarised, doesn't mean that we're good often enough here to call.

Okay. So we never call with any Qx here unless we hit two-pair? Structure the ranges...

AQ/AK I would have three-bet pre so that's not in my range here. KJ/KQ/QJ/Q10/Q9, possible 10J are the only hands I would play identical up to the river. I would have raised all of the sets on the turn. 10cJc I would have called flop then shoved over his bet on the turn (given stack sizes) so that's not in my range.

If we want to balance our range to be good the correct amount of time ... call with KJ/KQ/Q9/10J but fold others? I guess that does make sense.

I would appreciate more thorough analysis on the posts as far as calling ranges given those spots.

If your turn calling range is not strong enough, it may be hard to have a balanced calling range on the river. Put it another way, what hands are you folding if QT is a call?

U have to soul read him this situation. E
Either AJ AT A9s as bluffs

It will balance with his monsters 77,88.

I dont see any other hands should be playing having this kind of specifics.
