This the bubble of a 50€KO BI (the 1st prize step is 50€), Vilain is a winning REG , aggressive but not so fancy

I decided to call , but is it a good one on the bubble ?
I need 28% to be good and i have 40% vs (AA, AK, AKs, KK, QQ)

I think with 40bb we shouldn't be getting into an all in situation with QQ especially now that we are on a bubble. I think when you are 5bet all in they only ever have AA, KK and maybe AKs.

Much rather just call the 3bet preflop and see what the flop brings as we would still have a very strong hand for our range. When you 4bet and get 5bet the strength of our hand reduces massively and you put yourself in a very difficult spot.

30bb or less I would be 4 betting all in most of the time.

I'm guessing that your 4b range is nutted here and his gii range is even nuttier .... I don't mind if you made a flat but would probably just shove instead 4b. I can keep that range wider.

Even if i can 4 bet light in this pot ,i dont think he can make a move here really so it is more cautious to not play this big pot pre at the bubble and disguise my hand strenght

V should know your stack is committed once you 4-bet given almost half your stack is in so continuing narrows his range to AA, KK, and maybe AK (especially on the bubble). That's 12 combination's crushing you and maybe 16 you're racing against. None of the hands you are beating are likely to be 5-bet shoving on the bubble for 40BBs and 70% of their stack.

Just call the 3bet on the bubble. 4bet ai if there is no icm considerations imo.
