Bounty Builders approach. Bounty Builders approach.

Hey Guys.

I've been playing more and more bounty builders of late, and was wondering if anyone could offer some tips/strategy advice (or point me in the direction of some posts/articles).

One of my big weaknesses is getting confused whether to make a call for a bounty or preserve my chips and keep playing to win. Tricky spots where someone might shove all in for around 60% of my stack with a bounty of $50 (lets say the entry fee was $20). I've watched quite a lot of Lex Veldhuis videos on YT and he makes some really really really wide calls but unsure as to how he makes these decisions. Is it purely math or feel or something else. I suppose what I'm trying to say is: is there a way to calculate if a call is profitable or noy based on bounties on the line vs preserving our chips.

Interested to hear some thoughts from some more experienced players on this to help me improve.

Thanks.

its about weighing up chip ev (Cev) to dollar ev ($ev). Hunt the big bounties dont worry too much about the small ones, remember, all the money is still up top so you can sacrifice some $ev sometimes
