I am poker nooob

I want to learn to be better.

If I am in cutoff and villain opens from Mid position with 60 bigs

I am looking at KQdd and have 5K stack @ 75/150 whats the best play, I have tight image at table:
  • Jam 30 bigs ?
  • Defend for 2.2 bigs
  • 3 bet to 7 bigs and see if he 4 bets and we fold
  • fold pre

Can some one explain the best play. Villain has stats of 13/15 over 100 hands and f3b is 100 percent over 1 instance.

Q2. Also if I have 24 off in sb is it okay to give a walk or do I need to be more competent same 75/150 and I have 25 bigs

Q3 Same game fish play 20/40 limps utg+2 with 200 chips and 18 bigs I have 18 bigs on button and have 108ss , is this a profitable 3 bet or jam or fold ?

thank jou

There's a bit of nuance in deciding when to 3-bet, but it should basically be comprised of the top and bottom of your continuing range (Not necessarily true all the time, sometimes you just 3-bet the top of your range or 3-bet more AX heavy).

Flat KQdd because it's a strong hand, but not strong enough to 3-bet for value.

You're definitely going to want to look up theory on this.

3b/f sucks and we want to keep worse hands in, flat and lets take a flop

see a flop every time
in fact it's one of my fav hands to see a flop with, along with Q9s and A5s

Agree with others, easy call and see a flop.

There is nothing wrong with giving the BB a walk if you have crap cards in the SB. You'll be playing out of position so if you're not confident in playing postflop OOP with trash cards, just fold it.

Shoving 18bb is risky against an early position limp from a very loose player because those guys love to limp/call with hands that beat T8s. It is a great hand to see a flop though, so the question is whether to limp behind or raise. Depends on how the table is playing, e.g. whether the blinds are aggressive and will raise.

V 3b call range likely dominates KQs. Better off 3b suited A2-5 for bluffs as we have an A blocker. Other light 3b hands would be hands like 87s. If we flop 2 pair V often puts us on the draw when they have overpair = stack him. Also there are times V shows up with 99 and we have straight > set = stack him. KQs we can profitably flat. I often float non-broadway flops here in position as well. Average V doesn't barrel enough and simply c/f turn. I've been away from the game for a while so someone may come in and tell me I'm completely wrong by the way.
