Playing a $600 Seniors:

Effective stacks quite deep, 150BB early in the tournament.

Villain opens to 2.5BB in HJ, I call with AJs in Hijack, flop is heads up.

Flop is T92, 2 clubs one heart, giving me backdoor flush and straight possibilities.

Villain bets 3BB, I call.

Turn is Offsuit Q. Villain checks. If I plan to 2 barrel, what should my sizing?

Of course I realize this may not be the best line; I could have 3 bet pre, or 2 bet the flop.

Probably just give up flop unless he checks to you...I don't think u get to float flop then barrel this specific turn card...too low equity with eff stacks...bad implied odds with the nutstr8draw etc. Float flop barrel off is a lot > on a rainbow flop texture imo.

RE: sizings can't really answer until we know river but std ott (repping mostly 2pr and maybe J8s for value) would be ~65%. I guess u will have some KQ;AQ stuff that prob wants to bet as well. Is plan to rep clubs if flush gets there otr?

What position is villain? Looks like you said you are both hijack so I'm confused. As you said, your line could have been better. As played, I might be extra passive and check for a free river. Would have preferred to raise his cbet on flop. If you insist on betting the turn, I'd throw in about 60-70% of pot. Again, this all depends on his position as well as yours and his image/style.

I think 5 - 6BB should get the job done.

So we have all that, but we donīt have KJ,TT or 99?

Flop is close and pretty meah, i prefer a raise > call.
Not blocking FDīs is a good thing imo, and i will start by bombing turn and put QJ/KQ/AT/JJ and KK+ in a tough spot.
What was river?

River was a blank, not a club or a straight card, don't remember other than that.

Sorry...we have those combos^ too...I'm in the habit of thinking of the weakest combos (in our value range) when I'm trying to size bets.

Def can size up with this value range.
