$50 PLO MTT final table. Blinds 1250/2500. Payout increases for each place, but big increases are for the top 3 places. UTG 30K, UTG+1 17K, MP 98K,HJ 90K, CO 68K, BTN 26K, SB-HERO 68K BB 158K* MP raises to 5K, CO calls, Hero in SB with kk94. Repot, call, or fold?

Flat. Repotting leads to busting too much.

You have plenty of chips to take a flop and evaluate with.

For me: fold>pot>call. Don't like calling OOP, and not hitting the K, only other draw is second nut hearts which can be tricky OOP. I think with the 2 short stacks, ICM leans fold too.

I think this hand misses way more flops than it hits in Omaha and will be very difficult to play OOP. I would analogize it to a set mine in holdem and think you need to be a lot deeper.

Yeh, folding may have been better, and it might be a leak having trouble folding this sort of hand. I realized I couldn't call from the SB and decided to repot. My reasoning was that I had a below average stack and payout were fairly flat for a while. Most of the raise sizes were larger and I thought the raiser would probably raise large or limp with aces. Of course it could have been MP's standard sizing. I figured the caller couldn't have aces. I also thought I might get folds preflop or OTF because it was the final table.

MP folded and CO called. The flop came J97,r, which I was not happy with, but I figured I had to shove with 80% pot left. CO called with a decent run down, and CO was about 60% to win OTF. CO made a straight and I busted. My hand was 50% to win against CO's preflop. If I won the hand, I would have been second in chips.

Pot. You just got unlucky—with your stack and payouts so top heavy, I don’t think it’s that close of a spot tbh

Hope to see the repotters at my Omaha final tables! The folders, lot of merit.

Think bad kings are a little too solid too fold, but I can get on board here with that.

Flatting is the worst option of the 3 imo since there will be so few flops we’ll be happy with and we’re in the worst position.

With less than 30bbs, after the big stack opens and next guy flats (he’s never flatting AA here) you just gotta stick it in imo.

If ICM were a bigger thing I could get on board with folding—but never calling with stacks like this
