I found this post on a different forum and there was limited but interesting discussion. I'm curious what others think about this spot. Can anyone run some ranges / equities? What are the ICM considerations? Is this a super easy snap shove?

SB: 49,319 (20.5 bb)
Hero (BB): 46,978 (19.6 bb)
UTG: 100,543 (47.5 bb)
MP: 53,666 (8 bb)
CO: 95,086 (34.7 bb)
BTN: 43,786 (27.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q A
2 folds, CO raises to 7,200, BTN folds, SB raises to 49,079 and is all-in, 2 folds
OR is a loose aggressive and SB is a medium reg of this level.

What's the best move with AQs from BB?

Looks to be somewhat close to the bottom of our continuing range 20bb eff but still prob a jam. The line likely gets drawn at AJs.

How exactly are there already 2 all ins?

To understand ICM payouts are needed. If I read it correctly, there is a raise and an AI from the SB. If that is the action, pretty easy call.

Thanks, seems reasonable.

You're right. CO is not all in, they just raised so we still have action behind. How do you range SBs shove here? Given we hold AQ, what is the most common scenario here. I'm guessing one V has Ax and one has a PP as the most common occurrence but obviously many other possibilities are available.

Ignoring icm considerations , since we do not know the payouts, unless CO is super nit he should be folding most of his opening range , and hero is blocking the top of his range, so it’s a call vs SB 3bet Jam range

I usually do a better job ranging someone if I have a decent read. Given the weird stacks, this is an online event? What's the buy-in? As long as we are assuming regular/rec players, I can discount AA/KK from a 20BB shove over a standard raise. With no more info, it is a pretty easy call but not a snap.

Gotta shove this if CO is raising anywhere near the amount he is supposed to and SB w 20bb should be shoving pretty wide vs a CO open. We are well ahead of both ranges.

we are blocking aa qq ak and co is folding out plenty of equity for a shove to be +ev.
