Probably should 3-bet pre to thin the field. If we had one open and the blinds were super passive I don't mind an occasional flat with AK.

As played, we should have JJ, AJ, 55, maybe the occasional trapped AA. (assuming A5 would either 3-bet/fold and we should never have AK). Based on the fact our opponent c/r jammed something like 60BB effective over two players on a board where we block the only remotely plausible bluffs, I think this is a fold.

THX Guys.

Yeah sure, not 3beting pre was a huge mistake.

But I'm not sure if the folding would be fine on the flop.

Sometime he can play this way:
Ax spades or clubs
TQ, TK, QK spades or clubs
AQ maybe.

Don't you think?

Not enough to justify the call. It's a 60BB effective c/r jam over two players by a player who opened UTG and then elected to check flop. You almost certainly beat no value hands here, so your best case scenario is that he also has AK. By having the K it's significantly less likely he has KT or KQ that *might* take this line as bluff. Unless you have some kind of strong read that your opponent shoves in marginal situations or overbluffs I can't see calling.

Mmm. I'm not sure. The hand took place on the 50EUR Sunday Premium.
Silly things can happen.
So vs. that field the pre 3bet is a must I think.

result:

badpoker12 shows 5 J (Two Pair, Jacks and Fives)
(Pre 35%, Flop 69%, Turn 82%)
Daddyplayspoker mucks K A (One Pair, Aces)
(Pre 65%, Flop 31%, Turn 18%)
badpoker12 wins 240.7 BB

3bet pre and play the hand more aggressive especially when hit in such a field you have to narrow it down to HU possibly and then bet strong

yes much too passive here, we will never get paid off when we at the top of our range by playing so passive. 3b pre

as played I meh fold flop
