Borgata summer poker open event 19

We just doubled our stack from 130k @ 6k 12k 2k by sticking em in the middle over and over. Now have 260k, akdd otb sb and bb cover, bb only very slightly. Is this an open ship w 22bb or do we raise/call to try to get him to do something dumb?

I figured by jamming we get him to fold some mid pairs that we don't want to race against. However, we also make him fold kq type hands that we crush that he might jam with if we make it 2.5x due to our image.

How bad is it to get folds here? Get it in hard all day long. Don't jam. Raise/ induce/call.

I like raise call...I see what you're getting at though. Due to the fact that you've open jammed several times very recently, your open jam on button is going to be viewed as light, However, IMO, if we're trying to be optimal we want to give villain opportunity to 3b or jam alot with airballs and thin value hands rather than giving him only one option of calling off tournament life, even though will prob do so thinner than usual given your image.

Largely depends on what the flop is.

This is where I'm kind of lost, trying to play 18 bb post flop if v flats, even though we are ip. I understand that r/c is the optimal line and we are sort of letting him play his hand perfectly by jamming, but really hate getting a flat and then getting crai

I will add, if you can't play a premium hand postflop, then by all means open jam.. you'd be losing alot of value though.

if you have been pushing a lot recently, which your description says you have, i'd just gii now. others will probably put you on a wider range and will call lighter, and with AK you'll be a favorite.

Only hands I can see calls from are AQo, AJs + ... As light as he may be 22BB is tough to just call off...considering it is the bubble a bigger stack in blinds will attempt a resteal much wider and at a very high frequency. We take away any opportunity to allow for blinds to put more chips in unless they have a decent calling hand. Yes AJ we crush but we rarely get called let alone be in a dominating situation. Combos of flips make a larger percent of Vs calling range. So still goin with a raise/call or raise/shove
