So I won at my first table and in order to make the money you had to come in 3rd at the next table of 6. So situation is 5 players left and I'm UTG with 77. Hand history's below. I knew this was a pretty close decision (I've been faced with a lot of very close situations recently). But I honestly didn't think about it much and insta-called. My question is should I have thought about it (I think probably yes) and should I have called? I'll have one more question about this thing I downloaded called "Push Bot Rev." It'll be after the HH.

Some things about Villain:
in 31 total hands VPIP 32/Pre-Raise 6/Agg. Factor % 33, and he had not 3 bet until this hand in 14 opportunities. Of course a small sample size here...

I am interested in what you think before you look at the chart below. Was this right as played? And also, would you have done anything differently i.e. all in pre, raise size, fold, whatever.

Here's this chart that's supposed to help me know whether this was a fold or call. My question is does 77 (highlighted in yellow) mean I should call? What is the difference between the yellow (pot odds call) and green (Pot odds call that will return greater than x % roi?). What's x? I'm confused. Also, I guess this doesn't take into account mtt icm which also confuses the hell out of me. Basically I was two away from making a profit of 20 on a $30 investment. So the difference between the minimum cash and busting is $50. Thoughts?

Everyone always says that when I post a hand in which I lose... I mean, I guess maybe I wouldn't have posted had I won. But I at least would have marked the hand for review and looked it up on that chart above. Still wondering what the difference is between yellow and green on that thing. Obviously green is better - but need someone to explain the "pot odds is greater than "X" %...

I think fold is wrong. I mean, I just can't fold 77 with an M of 10 and 5 players to act. I just can't - not in my vocabulary. Pushing is interesting - and I see most are leaning toward that. I feel like it's really close. Still have some room with M of 10 though...

One thing my raise accomplishes is if the guy directly to my left had pushed I might have actually folded. And maybe even the guy to his left. They were very tight players. And they know I'm raising from UTG so I think I would have folded to their all-ins.

Interesting though. I guess I'll be considering a push next time.
