Recently played a 5k which i got from satellite, a few hands i'd like to discuss.
btw mincash is like 8270 average stack is like 6.5 starting stack.
1) 21 players left 8 max tournament 3 7 players tables. i have 10bb avg is like 43bb. there is no player shorter than me in all the three tables. utg +1 opens
folded to me at button i have kqo. utg +1 is the only player in the table who play too many hands and abuse bubble. other players play generally straightforward. What is your decision.
2) We are stil at bubble, i have 26bb open 99 2.2 bb from +1, button who played tight shoves his 13 bb stack. there are 2 players like 10 bb in the other tables.
Your decision?
3) still bubble have 21 bb, utg +1 (the same guy in question 1)opens i have 99 at the button, there are like 2 players like 8bb and 2 players like 4 or 5 bb in the other tables. Your decision?
not bubble related but before second day there was another hand.

second day of tournament, 8 max utg have 55 bbs TT i open. +2 clicks back, hyper agg players who bluffs too much and who lost some of his stack may be tilted. another player 4 bets from button he has exact stack as me. now i made a bad fold i think i should shove. i folded, aggro player instafolded. dont know how true but asked the 4bettor what he had he said ak. can i go in here or is this suicide.

it is very close, but depending on how much that min cash means to me i would be shoving otherwise

1) shoving a high % of the time. 10BB needs to double up given it's the tourney short stack and your range is usually ahead of your laggy V or at least live/flipping.

2) folding a high % of the time. the tight 13BB stack's range is more likely ahead of your range (live i'd usually assume JJ+ and AKs) than behind - and since there are shorter stacks than his on the bubble and he just went through the blinds (hand for hand) you can be fairly certain his range is narrow.

3) assuming V has average stack and one of the blinds is short stacked fold unless willing to raise (and call off vs a 8bb shove). fold > raise > call IMO.

day 2: why would you want to shove? at best you're flipping (for 55BBs?!) and sometimes will be dominated. folding is fine especially with a 3rd player to act behind.

1) shoved, villain surprisingly folded.
2) called, villain shows ako and finds a K we are short again.
3) villain had like 1.6 avg stack and no short stack in my table, shorties were in the other 2 tables. i folded. villain said that he had 2 overs to 99 but he would fold when shoved.

Maybe I missed it, but how many players are paid? Some of these are different if we are literal stone bubble with 20 paying, vs. "on the bubble" with 21 left and, say, 16 paid.

sorry 21 players left 20 paid. it was exact bubble hand by hand.
