Thoughts?

BU had been really aggro and was a bit of a maniac in all honesty. SB seemed a competent player.

If the sb flats I'm fine with it, not much fe once he 3bets and we're pretty behind his range.

Considering WE know BU is very aggro, then surely SB does too. He's almost never flatting here, so his 3bet range should be fairly wide. If we do get called, QJs realises a lot of equity in this spot I think.

I just think given what we think - folding here is really bad.

If you think SB is shoving something like 20% of their range, sure, we could have 40% equity and would only need a few folds for this to be +EV. Still feels a bit marginal, though, especially since the button could actually have something here. Honestly depends on my read of the SB.

If you had more im fine with it as you have Fold Equity, in this spot seems kind of meh. He probably has to flick it in and call with a lot of his Kx "bluffs"

Yeah is a definite no no , we need some fold equity
To make this shove profitable and we have 0, simple as that

I agree with SHIP_DAT. We're gonna get better spots.

a lot of assumptions about sb that may or may not be true however he has to call 55k to win roughly 125k so your fold equity is going to be really low which is obv bad when you get it in with QJ. also do you know what equity realization actually means? of course you will realize all of your equity when you are allin with any hand because your opponent cannot make you fold anymore and you will see a flop, turn and river. if you say that QJs realizes „a lot of equity“ that does not make any sense because it will simply realize its equity vs your opponents range and thats not super likely to be very high.

just fold pre to the 3b but since you figured out your own answer anyway already you probably do not want to hear that.

This was my thought process. I used the word 'think' not 'know'. I suggest you think about things before posting in future, and offer something with a modicum of usefulness.

If you think the player who three-bet out of the SB is competent, I think you can find a better spot. I think that competent players generally don't 3-bet light from the SB into a short stack in the BB. I think SB's range is crushing you. I think you are just short enough that I wouldn't call this play a spew, exactly, but I think you have very little F/E and I think you are likely to be way behind whatever SB is raising with.
