I haven't been active due to my small stack. I have villain as 75/40 with 10% 3b over 20 hands.

Is this just a cooler and I shouldn't post it? I think fish have such tight 3betting ranges versus ep opens, especially pre-ante.

not folding, srry u got coolered.

however i think u do make a decent pt about fish and 3bets. 75/40 is just insane though man

I don't think this is a lame hand. I think this is where HUDs mess us up a bit. I know in the moment I would look at the numbers and instashove but increasingly I think it is more marginal for one reason...75/40 - there is a massive gap between his call and raise stats - i.e. he is quite happy to call and play post flop. In fact with a 10% 3 bet (which could easily be BvB or BB v Button) calling is certainly his default position here - see a flop, try and hit etc or failing that bluff blah blah blah. Unlike most players villain will probably call more on the button to an ep raise than fold. But his loose calling range doesn't necessarilly indicate a loose 3 betting range. In fact, possibly the opposite - the 75/40 could be a warning sign more than an indication of 3 betting light.

But obviously I'd still shove...

BTN is probably never folding to our pre-flop shove given he needs to call 1,500 to win 2,600.

I would call and shove any non-A flop.
