So, I don't have the hand history but here's the situation. Late, itm of the 7K last night, about 55 people left. Blinds are 1500-3000. I have about 72K. Middle position with 186K (maybe chip leader), has been tricky and pretty aggressive, opens to 6600, folded to me in the small blind with:

. I flat. BB folds.

Flop is 7

I check, he bets 5000. I call.

Turn - 7

. I check, he checks

River - 4

putting a full house on board. I bet 18K and he pushes.

I'm open to thoughts on every street as I think I could have reasonably played every street differently.

Could argue for a 3b pre but as played this is a fistpump call if we got coolered so be it

Mostly shipping pre at 24BB over MP open. As played c/c flop is fine, I can see having a small leading range being ok - if so I guess JJ should be in it since it's probably one of our best overpairs. Turn can go either way between bet/check. River is a snap call, villain may have 76cc or 87cc exactly sometimes but is mostly going to have pocket pairs, some of which we beat and some of which we don't.

I think 3b jamming pre is standard, but its ok to mix in calls pre with hands like QQ+ off this stack depth. I can see JJ getting worked in there on occasion.

Flop I just xrai, I can easily see villain calling off with A high and worse pairs. River I would contemplate just lead overbet jamming, theres always the perception that we're trying to bluff him off a chop and we have a hand way stronger than we probably ever should when we flat pre. AP river is a snap call I think he could easily value jam 55+.

You definitely want to be 3-bet ripping this pre. As played, pretty easy call. Looks to me like he's trying to just bully you off of a chop.
