Shoving probably wins chips but definitely loses money. I know you say that you are playing for first and not worried about pay jumps but that is the wrong mindset to have if you are trying to maximize profit at a final table, unless its a PKO or some other format where 1st gets an unusually high % of the prize pool.

I ended up making back-to-back final tables and realized that trying to go for first was likely a mistake. As Deuceblocker mentioned, maximizing EV would've been the better approach. In order to maximize EV, I should've flatted and proceeded/waited for the shorter stacks to bust.
the flop ran Jxx, which goes xx, tQx I likley xc or b/f. Main villain had AQ and SB also had AQ.
I'm just now transitioning into MTT so will have a much better idea how to navigate a final table in the future.
