CL/top 3 practically the entire tourny. (4 Max) Final Table about 15 hands in. These guys are weak players and I am confident going into the FT. Could I have played any of these different or was the doom switch turned on...

Needless to say I was pretty disappointed being that I was crushing this tourny from the start and these guys weren't very good at all. Chip Leader to 4th in 2.5 seconds...

Kenny,

Whats the BI here?

Also, if you are dominating the table please stop playing big pots without big hands. Just win lots of small pots and give up to resistance more. No need for most of that.

I would be raising much less pre, like 2.2x......and yeah man grind small pots then let these guys felt when you have stronger hands. No need for too many of these hero calls

hand 2 and 3 give up/fold on river

hand 5 shove pre flop

hand 1 fold to the c/shove even vs draws you are flipping and when he has a pair you have 2 outs

you obv ran pretty bad but definately could of avoided a lot of it, the calling off with 5s for example is so marginal it's just not worth it imo

too many hero calls and too many bets with marginal hands. when u have position and a decent hand, its ok to pot control, esp if you think you have an edge skillwise

-I think hand 1 we have to make this call. 4 handed with 70k invested and he pushes for 120k more... so 2.2/1 on a call + read on 2 overs.. worst case J10
-Hand two agreed should def not bet river... im never called by worse..
-Hand 3... 2/7/Q he donk bets ... if he has a Q he check raises almost always.. I call intending to bluff turn.. when the K hits i slow and when he checks turn and river I want to push him off some weird 7 hands
-hand 5 ... I think I need to get value out of this hand. He will miss a ton and c-bet a ton of flops that I can c/r with like the Q5Q which I feel he c bets with his entire range

Agreed that I should have slowed down a bit and played smaller pots. Also I have been at the same table with Brenberry for the last 1.5 hrs and know he is big fish the other 2 arent great either.

Yeah agree....like if you think you are that much of a favorite vs crap players then this 55 call being so marginal should be avoided

u should listen to the posters here tho. I probably could've played it better myself but once it started going downhill I think I lost focus
