Question about a spot for those that predominantly play Bounty Builders/Bounty Hunter MTT's.

I found myself in a spot and I genuinely had no clue what the correct move was.

$33 Bounty Hunter. 7 left of 370. Final table bubble and we are 6th of 7 and in the BB. SB is the guy in 7th and has approx a $30 bounty. Starting bounties are $16.50 (we currently have $112 in bounties). Action folds to him and he shoves all in. Here are the vitals:

Blinds 70,000 / 140,000 antes 14,000 (blinds up in less than 2 minutes)

Current payout (7th - 9th) is $128. Next payjump (6th) is $195. 5th place has around 2,000,000 in chips and then the top 4 have around 4m+ each.

After posting the blinds, we have approx. 960,000 in chips. SB has around 500,000.

Facing SB's shove we look down at 62o.

I think villain could be shoving 100% here. That gives us nearly 34%, the chance to KO villain, claim his bounty and ladder in the process. Chances are we have two live cards also. How should this affect our decision here?

What's the play?

Are you sure that villain is pushing any two? I'm curious how he ended up with only 4 BB's left in the small blind, if he's the kind of player that is going to push any two from the SB then he wouldn't he have pushed or called off any two in the BB? Did he just lose a big hand post flop on his BB?

Me personally, I'm a nit in these spots, I would probably let it go with such poor holding, you have enough chips that you can play through another orbit and see what happens. But with only 6 or 7 BB's left and you in the big blind, and the bounty and laddering and everything, you can certainly justify calling off with any two cards, even if your hand is bad and you are probably doomed.

One thing I didn't consider was that you are at a three handed or four handed table. If it is just me and the short stack and one or two guys with 4 million, and we are cycling through the blinds every third or fourth hand, I might figure I have to call it off.

So gross. Practically speaking I feel that 70% of the time 6 high ain't good ... which is what you said originally... and if you loose you are in ****ty shape (which you already are)... I lean towards folding...
