Blinds 500/1000
9 handed
100 antes

Hero utg picks up AcKc, raises to 2500 - stack 45k
Utg +2 (fairly loose fish, likes to see flops often) flats
Sb (solid TAG, hasn't stepped out of line once) 3b's 7k
Hero flats
Utg+2 flats

Kskh6s flop

Sb bets 6k into 22k

Sb has 100k behind, utg+2 has 50k behind

Hero's action (37kish behind)?

Spoiler:
hero tanks, thinks the c-bet is too small and reraises to 15k, both snap fold... reason for raising is I don't want the fish behind to come along super cheap and be in a ****ty spot on a spade turn, also, I didn't think utg would fold a high pair, which he said he did.

Can i make a request that OP's don't:

'pick up AK'
'look down at his hole cards and sees AK'
'lift up his hole cards to see AK'
'gently caress the edge of his cards and spy to his astonishment AK'
'rub the cards in a circular motion on his stomach then peek at AK'
or any variation thereof

just 'Hero has AK' is fine.

thanks.

and flat the cbet. turn/river depends.

Flop is a standard call.

Preflop decision to flat vs. 4bet is the most interesting part of the hand IMO.

With only 45 BBs, 4bet jam is definitely fine, and not going to lose you money. But SB 3bet range against an UTG open is going to be really tight, we're getting excellent odds, we're IP, and being suited gives us good playability so I think I prefer flatting here to try to keep AQ in his range and give ourselves the opportunity to get away on poor runouts. Also helps balance our range for when we want to flat a hand like 99-JJ.

AKo would be a clearer 4bet jam for me.

Yeah realised I f'd up on the flop, I think the small sizing just put me off and he'd be likely to call a raise otf. Clearly I was wrong.

Similar thoughts about his 3b range, must be stupidly tight considering I'm opening utg, so was just flatting because I'm IP and deep enough to do so

My thoughts exactly, although I don’t see the significant difference in AKo and I’d be flatting that against described V also.

There's a reasonably significant number of boards that we can continue on if we're suited but can't if we're not suited, so we realize equity a lot better.
