What hands should we be using to build our 3! bluffing range from the BB? Most of the ranges I see use a lot of different hands with very low frequencies. Are there more simplified ranges that can be played in a more practical manner?
I am looking for a group of hands that can 3! bluff about 25% of the time, 40BB effective stacks, vs UTG,LJ,Btn. I can interpolate from there...
There isn't a concrete answer - it's a matter of how wide someone is opening and how they perceive your 3b. I guess if someone is playing "GTO" you can build out a clear range but very few are - the ability to adjust these ranges on the fly is what makes great players great. I also think with how aggressive people are preflop these days with 40 bb stacks you might want to have a lower 3b range that's much more polarized - calling is not a bad option either as you're heavily disguised calling out of the bb.
