No read on villain, HEM2 doesn't work here. Can I get some opinions on the proper play here. Me and my buddy disagree on what to do. I say open shove, being they are both short. My friend says open fold. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, TY in advance!

yah i'm confused why you would be folding? check the math. this is super profitable, you losing doesn't leave you without more room to profit later...but other factors still important, where are you in the tournament? how many are left?

I always forget to put in full info sorry about that. I try not to think about the payouts and just shoot for first. In this case I was already ITM. I tried to find the tourney in the finished lobby, no go. I think this was 19 left with a pay bump at 18. Maybe 21 or so. I did choose to open jam myself. My friend has been staking me halfway, he's a pretty smart dude, but he's still learning the value of fold equity and such, and I am far from optimal myself. So we post any hands we don't agree on, to find out who's decision was better and adjust.
