What do you think ? Massive spew or was worth the try ?

Also note that can be of importance, the tournament was KO and I had 147e on my head which is actually why I didn't gii pre.

Seems like a decent 3-bet shove spot preflop v. an aggressive villain. He'll fold a lot and his calling range is probably as wide as Kx, Qx, maybe even Jx given your bounty.

I like a c/r jam on the flop w/ pair+BDF+BDS...like it much less on the turn. I don't think you're in great shape vs. villains turn betting range here.

Pre is marginally close to a shove. He's supposed to fold A2s-A5s, but he's also supposed to fold K9s, T9s, etc too. Depending on how loose he's calling it off exploitatively shoving is nice. But being able to close action and go HU to the streets sets a pretty high bar for wanting to forgo that option in favor of shoving. So think defend is still best, but it really is close. Snap shove if this particular V opens BTN and likely CO as well.

AP x/j flop. V has no pair more than anything, you're ahead of his range almost surely and need max protection.

shove pre sounds ok, but i'm ok with c/j flop or turn too.

Oops, in my first post I said shove pre if he opens CO, thinking he actually opened UTG.

Reread the HH, yeah shove pre for sure.

In a vacuum seems like a fairly trivial shove spot pre. My initial reaction was that c/r jam flop felt too aggro (as we'd probably jam something like 30-40% of our hands if we jammed all our pairs + decent draws) but villain is so heavily weighted towards overcards here we should take it down a ton.

Call pre, call flop, fold turn and use a better converter.

Hello guys, thank you for your answers. I remember I had thought about shoving pre but I decided not to because I had 0 FE. The same V had called with 73o a 10BB shove earlier for a bounty of 58e. As I had 147e on my head, he was never folding and it was always going to be a flip. That is why I elected to call pre.

On the flop, I thought the x/j would be too big in regards of the pot, I don't know if that should even enter into consideration (???) but it slowed me down.

Then on the turn, flop and turn seemed pretty safe with no cards between 8 and K which should build most of his range on this spot. And him always betting being just a formality, I elected to to go with it there.

From all you answers, I conclude the play was definitely not ideal but not that bad either I guess. I must have fell on the top of his range I want to believe...
