I guess I forgot to include that the table is 6 handed which should slightly change some considerations compared to 7, 8 or 9 handed, but it's not too appreciably relevant to the thread question, unless having an extra 1% of your stack size in the pot preflop is reason to go from not having an open shoving range to having one.
Well this change things...
You want to.know if you can shove profitably UTG 6-max ( not LJ... In 6 max you are under the gun, first to act) at 20bb. Because its not the same.
It depends on the rest of the table. Is there a reshoving stack? Are they loose passive? Are they calling stations? Are they aggro monkeys reshoving any Ax? How big is the stack of BTN and BB? How is your image?
The generic answer is to look out push/fold charts ( use the FTT app, its good and you can adjust tightness)
Personally I divide my range in r/f, r/c and shove. Low pockets are good to shove, KQ is r/f, I sometimes shove KJs, r/c top of the range obviously.
Use some software and make your ranges ( or the good old pencil and paper)
The tourney is regular, turbo or hyper? This change the things a lot too
Poker it's not a game of absolute answers, sometimes you have to think for yourself
If not, use the charts
